Sharing my pictures with the world (and other participants of the Nasa Tweetup). I was one of 150 participants selected for this event at Nasa - Kennedy Space Center on September 7 - 8, 2011 for the launch of the Grail Mission to the moon.
I do apologize that not all speakers made it in these pictures but modern technology failed me and so it was best that they don't get displayed!
This is such a terrific event and when past people say it is one of those moments you'll never forget - - I can now vouch for that! This "adult field trip" as Neil Degrasse Tyson refers to, is one that I really needed and enjoyed beyond articulation!

I want to say thank you to Nasa Tweetup for all the hard work you do to put the Nasa Tweet Up events together. I can only imagine how much work goes into coordinating 150 people - glad we have twitter!
The things I was privileged to see, the people I met and the speakers that talked were something I will never forget.
Just being able to see one of the shuttles up close and in person was a life long dream of mine! I remember not long ago commenting that I hoped that I would one day be able to do that as I saw the shuttles land for the last time. My dream came true!
I learned so much about Nasa and especially the Grail Mission. My eyes are much more open than they were and I feel like at least now I can talk about space exploration from a more knowledgeable standpoint.
So thank you to all who helped put this together and who participated! It was an amazing experience.
There are currently no events scheduled at this time. Please keep checking back for updates.
Every day we wake up into a world that has not been created at that moment. It is each waking moment, each step we take, and each thought we derive, that creates our day. What we choose to do with it and how we choose to live it, is our choice and our choice alone.
